Correspondence, newsletters, and topical files of the Chicago branch of the Citizens Action Program, an activist organization initially named the Campaign Against Pollution. Topics include environmental pollution (1969-1971) and, after the organization's change of name in 1971, social and political inequalities at the Chicago neighborhood level, attacking real estate tax breaks for wealthy corporations, fighting the proposed crosstown expressway, and advocating banking reform to require financial institutions to invest in their host neighborhoods, avoid red-lining, and not transfer capital to Loop and suburban projects.
